We welcome you to the AFOUTAYI DANCE STUDIO (2525 Nevada Ave North, Suite 211, Golden Valley, MN 55427), our new home for your regular dose of movement, tradition, sonorous folklore, and Haitian, African, and Afro-Caribbean spirit.

Workshop notes and policies:

You do not need any experience in traditional dance to attend the dance workshop or any drumming experience to learn to play the drums. All you need is an open mind and willingness. Our teachers will use a very positive and supportive approach to help you learn in whatever way best suits you.

Most of the dance classes are done barefoot, but if a class requires shoes please bring special dance shoes (no street shoes are allowed in the studios).

Please bring your own drum for drumming class. A few will be available to rent on a first come, first serve base.
